5) What happens to my documents after they've been shredded?
Once shredded, 100% of material is baled and sent to a paper mill to be recycled.
6) How do I know if I have the proper number of secure containers and proper service frequency (for recurring service)?
We will note fill level for the first three pickups and if necessary discuss removing or adding containers, or changing the frequency of pick-up.
7) What are the charges for delivering or removing the containers?
There are no charges for delivery or pickup. There are also no charges for the use of our containers. Quantity discounts are available based upon the number of security containers and/or the frequency of service.
8) What if my security container is full before my scheduled pickup?
Just give us a call or send us an e-mail and you will be put on the schedule to be picked up usually the same day or the next business day.
9) Why is on-site shredding more expensive than off-site shredding? Is there really a difference?
The only difference is price. The security remains the same. It costs more to shred on-site because on-site trucks cost up to $200,000. Additionally, the gas is more expensive, the mpg's are low, and the on-site shredding equipment is not as powerful as our plant-based equipment. When brought back to our facility it can be shredded much faster, averaging 10,000 pounds per hour! We invite anyone to visit us and actually watch the destruction of their documents or simply just to take a tour of our facility. We offer both services so that our customers can choose based on their level of comfort.
10) Why do you charge by volume instead of by the minute?
Because we want to give the best value to our customers. Using equipment that shreds up to 10,000 pounds of material per hour allows us to service more customers than our competition and we pass the savings on to you. Charging by the minute is good for the shredding company. Most companies who charge by the minute include collection time, and collection time depends on the number of containers, types of containers and the distance between them.
11) What sets you apart from your competition?
Most companies only offer either off-site or on-site shredding, but we offer both. In addition, we allow people to bring their materials into our facility. By offering each option we can truly cater to every one of our customers needs. No matter which option chosen, security remains constant. With on-site shredding you can watch your materials being shredded at your location. With off-site shredding all of your material is loaded into our secure, locked,
12) What form of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, business checks, personal checks, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.
13) Can I access my account online?
Yes! You can log on to your account and retrieve past invoices, as well as pay online. Never misplace invoices for your records again!
